The company name “SIMVIS” («ΣΥΜΒΙΣ» in Greek) originates from the Greek word «Συμβίωσις» standing for the English term “Symbiosis”, i.e. “to live together” signifying the commitment of the two partners to make this Joint Venture work in harmony!

SIMVIS is a 50/50 Joint Venture between Gerolymatos International SA and Galenica SA that leverages on the long-standing pharmaceutical heritage of both partners. Simvis is focused on providing high quality 3rd Party Pharmaceutical Manufacturing services to Greek and foreign companies. Owning, promoting and marketing pharmaceutical products is outside the scope of SIMVIS, thus ensuring that there is no conflict of interest with customers that opt to entrust their production to SIMVIS.
